A LICENCE IS NOT REQUIRED IF POSSUMS ARE RELEASED WITHIN 25 METRES OF POINT OF CAPTURE. IF A POSSUM IS RELEASED IN ANOTHER AREA YOU MUST ENSURE THAT THE ANIMAL HAS ACCESS TO A DEN AND MUST NOT COMPETE WITH A NEIGHBOURING POSSUM FOR DEN SPACE. PENALTIES APPLY.
