Ducks

Ducks are generally able to eat the same food as chickens. Occasionally they may prefer a finer mash as opposed to a course mash as it is easier for them to eat. Cracked mixed Grain or Cracked Corn makes for a good treat for your pet duck, they are also the preferred feed when wanting to provide wild ducks with some food.

Fine Laying Mash The fine mash is a complete feed with all the nutritional requirements for your laying hens. Because it is a fine powder it can be a bit dusty and cause infections if it gets in their eyes. A lot of people dampen this mash down with a little water to reduce the dustiness.

Cracked Corn

Advanced Cracked Corn is a great supplementary feed for poultry. It is high in protein and fibre and a real favourite for all forms of poultry. Cracked Corn won't grow or sprout in your backyard and because it is so dry, if stored appropriately, it will last a lot longer than other feeds.

Cracked Corn is a great alternative to bread when feeding wild Ducks. Cracked Corn will be of greater nutritional value to wild ducks or birds.

   

Geese & Turkey's

Geese and Turkey's should start out on an appropriate high protein starter and grower crumble. After that they can be fed a mixture of a Course Layer Mash, Mixed Grains and Cracked Corn.
